PRP
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a regenerative injection treatment that uses a concentrated portion of your own blood—rich in platelets and growth factors—to stimulate healing in damaged tissues. It can help reduce pain, support tissue repair, and accelerate recovery for conditions like osteoarthritis, tendon injuries, and chronic joint pain.

Prolotherapy
Prolotherapy is a regenerative injection treatment that uses dextrose to stimulate the body’s healing response in damaged ligaments, tendons, and joints. It can help reduce pain, strengthen and stabilize tissues, and boost recovery for conditions like osteoarthritis, tendonitis, and joint instability.

Arthrosamid
Arthrosamid is an advanced injectable hydrogel treatment used for knee osteoarthritis that works by cushioning the joint and integrating into the synovial lining. It can help reduce pain, improve joint function, and provide long-lasting relief for individuals experiencing chronic knee pain and stiffness.

Hyaluronic Acid/Durolane
Hyaluronic acid is a natural joint lubricant that helps with cushioning and movement. Hyaluronic injections are especially beneficial for osteoarthritis and joint pain relief, improving mobility and reducing discomfort.

IV Therapy and Vitamin Injections
Experience personalized IV's formulated to support hydration, cellular nourishment/ deficiencies and overall wellness. Using premium vitamins and minerals delivered directly to the bloodstream, IV therapy offers a gentle, efficient way to nourish your body from the inside out. Including options for Glutathione and NAD.

Steroid Inection
Corticosteroid injections are anti-inflammatory treatments that deliver medication directly into a joint or surrounding tissue to quickly reduce pain and swelling. They can help relieve symptoms and improve mobility for conditions like arthritis, bursitis, and acute flare-ups of joint or tendon pain.

Naturopathic medicine is a form of medicine that combines conventional medicine approaches with
natural medicines and therapies, with a strong emphasis on disease prevention. Naturopathic Doctors look to identify and treat the underlying cause of disease and recognize the need for individualized approaches for treatment as they recognize that no two patients are the same. Symptoms are not treated in isolation, but are instead used as guides linking back to the underlying dysfunction, which is treated in order to restore function and regain health. Licensed Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are formally trained in medical sciences and numerous modalities of treatment, and are legally licensed primary care physicians. The broad scope of practice of NDs in British Columbia is strictly regulated.
Naturopathic visits begin with a comprehensive health history that includes a review of all body systems and any relevant physical exams. From the health history, physical exams, and lab testing (if relevant), NDs use this information to identify the root cause of dysfunction and disease, and implement appropriate treatments to help the support and stimulate the body’s inherent self-healing mechanisms. With a wide array of therapeutic options available, a comprehensive treatment plan is created that often includes a multi-faceted approach focused on short-term healing and long-term prevention.
To be licensed to practice in BC, NDs are required to complete a 4 year undergraduate degree followed by 4 years of training in Naturopathic Medicine, which includes 2 years of clinical rotation, at one of 6 accredited Universities or Colleges in North America. NDs are trained in many of the same conventional diagnostics and therapeutics as MDs, as well as training in clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, manual therapies including chiropractic manipulation, counselling, injection therapies and more. Many NDs also have additional certifications to administer IV Therapy, prescribe medications, and other treatment modalities.
Yes, Naturopathic Medicine is regulated by the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia.

Many NDs in BC are licensed to prescribe most prescription medications that are typically used in a
family practice. Some exceptions are federally controlled substances like narcotics, benzodiazepines,
cannabis, and other potential drugs of abuse like testosterone. Dr. Michael is certified for prescriptive
authority in BC.
ND consultations and laboratory testing requested by NDs are not covered by MSP. Services are usually covered under Extended Health Plans. Depending on who your insurance provider is, we may be able to offer direct billing to your provider.
